On February 16, Wang Ning, Secretary of Yunnan Provincial Party Committee, and Wang Yubo, the Governor, and other leaders met with Liu Jincheng, Chairman of EVE, to exchange views on deepening cooperation in the new energy industry. On the same day, EVE signed the New Energy Battery Industry Chain Project Cooperation Agreement with Yuxi Municipal People's Government, SEMCORP, Huayou Holding, and Yuntianhua Co., Ltd.
Wang Ning encouraged the contracted companies to give full play to their own technology, brand and market advantages, strengthen their confidence, increase investment in Yunnan city, speed up the implementation of projects, and help the development of the entire industry chain of new energy batteries in Yunnan city. He also pointed out that the government will vigorously improve the business environment, and spare no effort to support the most promising and profitable enterprises to seize opportunities and become bigger and stronger.
